“A man who prays lives out the mystery of existence, and a man who does not pray scarcely exists”

St. Marys Cathedral, Killarney

The relic of St. Sharbel was venerated in Killarney at St. Marys Cathedral, on Sunday August 18th. The Relic was placed on the altar for the noon mass, which was attended by hundreds of the local faithful.

After mass, those in attendance received individual blessings with the relic before it was placed again on an altar for veneration. During the time the relic was exposed for veneration, six babies were baptized in its presence.

During the homily a short description of St. Sharbel, the Maronite Church, and some of the miracles associated with St. Sharbel were shared with the parish.
